First and Latest Songs

Here is the first song I ever wrote, at age 18, after visiting a ghost town and hearing a lame Windex ad. I used the first four notes of the Windex tune and wrote a couple verses, since slightly revised. Here’s “Tumble Down Shack.”

My first song, 1964

And my latest song, January 2021, Theme 152, titled “What’s Ours Today.”

Theme 152: What’s Ours Today

This blog is about hiking, thinking, and writing.

    1. With aspiring wisdom and insights and a little bit of hog wash, Sam is the modern day Roger Miller. Only more honest. Thank you Sam for being true to your roots! In what, I’m not sure. Smile.

  1. Loved listening to them both plus quite a bit more I have missed. Like any visual work over a period or time, there are bits and pieces similar. Or maybe I don’t hear as well as I once did!😶
Also Resolution was relaxing- peaceful at this time of day.
That new white moth is elegant.
