I have recorded this song, recovered from a discarded manuscript by Brahms, originally written for a choir of a thousand voices and an orchestra of five hundred instruments. I found it in a trash bin in Florence. So it might have been a work of Vivaldi. Anyway, here it is, along with the original lyrics, which read:

Here’s a lullaby I wrote for Mimi when she was 90 years old and recovering from a fall.
And here is a piece I wrote at Dominican College in 1970 when a classical trio came to visit. I gave a terribly rough draft to them, and they actually tried to play it, bless their hearts. It’s much better this way. I call it “Rain.”
