Theme 245 and a Song from 1974
I wrote this song when I learned that two sailors from the U. S. Navy jumped ship during the Viet Nam War and came home, refusing to serve any more in that awful war. My dream, of course, was that ALL of the sailors would follow suit and give it up. Not long after, the war ended.
And yet, one more song
This one is an awkward conversation between the piano and the strings. Not an argument, really, but coming to terms.
